TNT Sports holds every Champions League match in the UK. Here is what the £30.99 subscription unlocks.

Upcoming fixtures · next 14 days

UEFA Champions League UK broadcast rights are held exclusively by TNT Sports through the 2026-27 season. Every Champions League, Europa League and Conference League match streams live on Discovery+ Premium at £30.99 monthly. Selected Champions League knockout matches air free-to-air on BBC Sport in selected windows.

What Discovery+ Premium / TNT Sports includes

The TNT Sports UEFA package covers:

  • Every Champions League match. All 96 group-stage matches per season, all 29 knockout matches through to the final.
  • Every Europa League match. Group stage and knockouts.
  • Every Conference League match. Group stage and knockouts.
  • The UEFA Super Cup. Annual season-opening match between the Champions League and Europa League winners.

Discovery+ Premium at £30.99 monthly is the only paid route to live Champions League broadcast in the UK. There is no Champions League-only sub-tier — the bundle covers the full TNT Sports portfolio including UFC, MotoGP, rugby and selected Premier League matches.

BBC Sport free-to-air windows

The BBC carries selected Champions League matches free-to-air under a sub-licensing agreement with TNT Sports:

  • The Champions League final broadcast on BBC One every year.
  • Selected Round-of-16 first-leg matches involving British clubs.
  • Highlight packages for the group stage on BBC iPlayer.

The BBC’s live coverage is targeted — typically one match per knockout round, prioritising fixtures with British clubs (Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Newcastle, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Chelsea). The remainder of the knockout slate stays exclusive to Discovery+ Premium.

How TNT Sports UK differs from CBS US

CBS holds the Champions League US rights through Paramount+ at $7.99 monthly. TNT Sports holds the UK rights at £30.99 monthly within the Discovery+ Premium bundle. The difference reflects market structure rather than content — both services carry the same matches, with the same commentary teams in many cases. CBS’s coverage is significantly cheaper because the US market has less competition for European football rights than the UK market.

UK viewers cannot legitimately access US Paramount+ from UK IP addresses; it violates the platform’s regional terms. The UK path is Discovery+ Premium.

What’s not on TNT Sports

TNT Sports holds the full UEFA club portfolio but does not hold:

  • UEFA national-team competitions. Euro 2024 ran on ITV and BBC. UEFA Nations League runs on Channel 4 and selected Sky Sports windows.
  • CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores or Sudamericana. South American club competitions are on Premier Sports / Viaplay.

The minimum cost to watch every Champions League match in the UK

Discovery+ Premium at £30.99 monthly is the single required subscription. The annual cost is £371.88 (monthly) or £359 (annual upfront), covering every match across all three UEFA club competitions.

For comparison, this is the same subscription that covers UFC UK, so a fan tracking both UEFA football and UFC on a single subscription effectively pays £30.99 total for both.
